Description: The fall Funding Webinar Series is an initiative by the German Alliance for Global Health Research (GLOHRA) to connect the research community to key funders in the global health space. On 28 November at 12:00 CET the German National Contact Points MSCA and ERC team will share information about funding programs which are especially relevant for PhD students and postdoctoral students (i.e. Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions & European Research Council).

The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions are the European Union’s flagship funding program for doctoral education and postdoctoral training of researchers. The program aims to facilitate international and interdisciplinary collaboration, foster mobility of researchers, and enhance research skills. The European Research Council has various grants, including ERC starting grants for highly accomplished researchers who completed their PhD in the past 2-7 years.

The session will provide participants with the basic framework and aims of these two EU funding programs and will include time for questions.

The webinar will take place via Teams. It will not be recorded.
