GLOHRA members can request funding for scientific workshops (face-to-face, digital or hybrid)
Workshops should contribute to GLOHRA’s aims. Specifically, they should:
- support the advancement of approaches, methods and/or ideas in global health research
- strengthen the links among global health researchers and their institutions
- initiate and support interdisciplinary (and cross-sector) research activities in global health
- provide opportunities to try and test new models of cooperation, thereby creating new links between disciplines and communities in- and outside of Germany
Available funding: GLOHRA can support workshop costs such as room, equipment and catering costs, travel support for national and international speakers and for participants from low and middle income countries.The maximum contribution per workshop is EUR 15,000.
