This training offer is meant to support doctoral or postdoctoral students who will soon embark or are embarking on qualitative research within the field of global health. The training is structured into two components: a pre-recorded online course and a 3- day in-person workshop. Pre-recorded online courses are available here (scroll down to qualitative research). All are invited to watch these online lectures as a means to gain an understanding of theories, methods, and analysis techniques inherent to qualitative research.
The online component is followed by a 3-day in-person workshop in Heidelberg. The workshop is open to 15 participants who are undertaking research in Global Health at the doctoral or post-doctoral level and have completed the online modules prior to the workshop. For more information on the application requirements and procedure click on the link to the flyer below.
Participating in the workshop is free of charge. A select number of travel grants will be made available for participants to engage in the workshop.
