Complex global challenges in the health sector require cooperative and interdisciplinary research approaches. The German Alliance for Global Health Research will link the various disciplines of global health research in Germany more closely in order to increase the contribution of the German research community to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal 3 ("Good Health and Well-Being") and to further develop global health as an academic discipline in Germany.
