Connect your LMIC Partner to the GLOHRA Community
Numerous GLOHRA members are already active in international cooperation and have built long-term partnerships in LMICs. The initiative Partnerships for Research and Training in Health (GLOHRA-PATH) aims at supporting these members in deepening, extending and further developing their partnerships. As a result, multidirectional cooperation pathways and regional nuclei will develop that can be accessed by other GLOHRA members and LMIC partners. Teams are also encouraged to explore cooperation opportunities with German public structures in their partner country, especially those with a focus on implementation (like GIZ offices) or policy (like embassies). GLOHRA-PATH is made possible by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) via Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and aims to strengthen GLOHRA’s impact and support partnerships that stand on equal footing with partners in low and middle income countries.
Detailed information - including a table explaining the differences between the GLOHRA calls for Research Projects and GLOHRA PATH - is available in the Funding Guidelines. The deadline for submission of proposals is 30 June 2022. Funding is conditional on the successful conclusion of a subsidy agreement between Charité and GIZ. Applicants are invited to contact the Secretariat before submitting an application.
